Many times you need to create multiple ring buffers and then style using something else than a polygon, in the past I used to convert to a line and delete the duplicates in order to guarantee nothing would overlap. In this video I go over how to achieve the same using geometry generators to have a dashed line symbology that looks crisp, then I go over how to create stacked labels and mask the rings.

The labelling technique can be applied to topographic curves in order to have more control over where you would want to have the labels appear. I normally blog about aviation but I will start also to do it about QGIS in a practical way and hope to get into some beginner PYQGIS in 2022.
